Best to buy it from an authorized local distributor as they'll update the firmware for free, otherwise, I believe the average rate is about S$20+ for the update. The best way to be sure is to get written confirmation from your seller, and if you're buying it physically (in a store), just ask them to test it with a radio trigger if it fires.
